Free Training Opportunities with Leander

We have opportunities for parents and swimmers (16+) to join two courses: Swim England Level 2 coaches course and Swim England Level 1 Assistant Coach course.

Swim England Level 2 coaches course.

Dates: (you must attend all) APRIL 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30; MAY 5, 6, 7, 12. Plus assessment: JUNE 26.

Times: 6-9pm at Ernest Bevin

You will be required to put together a coaching cycle and coach it. This will be part of the June assessment.

This course is available to anyone with a Level 2 assistant coach award and leads to a full coaching qualification.

There are five free Leander places for any of our members that are interested.

Swim England Level 1 Assistant Coach course.

Dates: (you must attend all) JUNE 26-28

Times: June 26 5-9pm, June 27-28 9am-5pm at Ernest Bevin

This course is available to anyone that is interested in becoming an assistant coach and to parents or swimmers (16+) that want to help out with the Club squads.

There are up to 12 free* Leander places for any of our members that are interested.

*Any swimmers that complete this course will be required to volunteer 20 hours of assistant coaching following qualification.
